Intellectual property in a simple and concise sense is the process of mental creativity. Any idea that results in mental and intellectual creativity in the form of a product that affects the public life.
There are many ways to express this creativity with different paths and ways of how to express and protect it. For example, there is artistic creativity represented in the performance of a specific television or movie scene, a scientific innovation that results in a new drug, a new chemical compound, those results in a new device and modern technology, literary creativity represented in writing novels, stories and scientific materials, Or a skillful creativity that is the manufacture of a specific shape for a product or the creation of an external shape for packaging a product, such as the exterior shape of a car (the chassis). Or that creativity in the field of agriculture is the production of new types and new varieties of plants.

All of these creations are classified according to their field, which is one of the Intellectual Property Fields. They are as follows:

1- Patents and Utility Models
2- Copyright and Related Rights
3- Trademarks
4- Industrial designs or models
5- Geographical Indications
6- Plant Varieties
7- Trade secrets and undisclosed information.
8- Digital IP and Public Domain Digital IP AND IP Domain.

In the future, we will address the concept and characteristics of each field in a simple way that increases awareness of intellectual property and gives sufficient information to know the rights of each creator and reviews the duties required of him to achieve the desired goal of protecting his creativity in a balanced manner with the development dimension of the state.
